The ACTOR knows the masquerade for what it is, the mind’s work. Perhaps he has entrapped himself in the play he performs, believing himself to be the persona or mask he hides behind. The ACTOR has left his throne in the care of a well-trained dog, a symbol for autonomous group action. He has put his trusty lion to sleep and uses it to cushion his foot.
In the Aquarian Age, the ACTOR symbolizes that the law of humanity, or the right to rule, no longer shall come from a single authority. Each one must find a direct experience or inner law to obey.
